Starting the operations with a single flour mill in 1962, the Company had expanded to seven mills in three locations over the next three decades. With a modest R&D facility the Company could achieve these milestones. Taking forward the efforts of R&D, the Company could further expand and add Detergents, Minerals and Retail divisions to its feathers in the next decade.

Considering the need for a well-established R&D Centre, the Company took all efforts and got its full-fledged Research and Development Centre during the year 2018-19.

It is glad to report that the Naga R&D Centre got recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi in the year 2018-19. The recognition is valid up to 31.03.2021. It is also glad to note that the Naga R&D Centre was approved for claiming deduction u/s 35(2AB) of IT Act, 1961. This approval is valid up to 31.03.2020.
